Lead consultant and founder, Daniel Moreno, has over 20 years of broad experience in small and large environmental projects. He has a B.S. in Environmental Science Economics, an M.S. in Soil Hydrology, and Ph.D. in Water Resources Engineering. He worked for local government where he specialized in evaluation, design, and construction inspections of septic and water systems. He has developed best management practices for surface applied chemicals and effluent in tiled agricultural lands. He has undertaken large projects with municipalities and environmental consulting firms to assess the efficacy and design criteria of natural alternatives to wastewater treatment discharge using constructed wetlands, poplars for high irrigation wastewater, and hyporheic discharge; bringing significant savings from traditional systems. He specializes in the design of natural and alternative treatment systems, mitigation practices, and design of underground systems.
